Is a totally new SKU required or I can release an update for a PB app?

Hello!

Should I release a new application (with a new name, SKU, etc) or can I release an update for my existing PlayBook app to participate in the 10K?

I've made a full rewrite of my application to leverage new features of new SDKs but I want to use my old application name and let my existing users upgrade for free.

Please use plain text.

You can release it under the same product in the vendor portal, and make sure you've used the same package id in the bar-descriptor file so that users will eventually be able to upgrade directly, once BB10 arrives on the PlayBook.

For now, although you can add some metadata (e.g. screenshots) that's specific to the new BB10 devices, people using App World will see only the old PlayBook stuff. That will be fixed some time in January, per a devblog post from a couple of months ago.
