10K Developer Commitment

I was wondering a few things about this program with regards to old bbos devices.

If we make a new product (1 sku) but works for BBOS and QNX but we want it to qualify for the Built for BB (BBB) program and the 10k commitement how would it work?

1) Would sales only apply to the sales from QNX devices (seems like a yes but..)

2) how would the BBB sticker/tag/award apply for some item in the SKU?

3) Can we start selling the product now (for BBOS) or must we wait for both products to launch (which means 2 skus, which means users have to pay twice, which usually means un happy customers)

I am sure i'll have more questions but would love to see some of these answered. Thanks!

Great questions, here are some answers:

1. Sales will only apply for BlackBerry 10 phones.
2. With the implementation of improved relevance SKU management in an upcoming release of App World Vendor Portal, users will be able to select a feature photo for each product. The Built for BlackBerry logo should only appear on the BB10 feature photo.
3. The improvements to SKU management should help here allowing you to have just 1 SKU for both products.

I guess a by-product of my question then is, if we can start selling our BBOS products now even if the QNX version is up for certification/10k program, can we do something similar with current exisiting products (using and old SKU to submit BB10 app for certification?)
