PlayBook Connectivity

I have a question:

Can a PlayBook link to a second PlayBook, or group of Playbooks, without an internet connection or tether to BlackBerry. For example, Nintendo DS device may link with one or more other DS devices and users can play together. Is this possible with the PlayBook, can it be programmed to do this?

Thanks

Re: PlayBook Connectivity

Good question!

But I have not yet seen any function to do that, and the only specific application I see that does that is the Video Chat application, which obviously allows video chat between the two linked devices, and only that.

Re: PlayBook Connectivity

Thanks for the reply, I'm beginning to think that the device was purposely designed not to allow this type of connectivity.. same deal with the iPad

Re: PlayBook Connectivity

I think you might see some connectivity applications coming, like the video chat feature.
