Ant scripts for playbook development

Forgot to mention these here when I released them. Still, better late than never.

Re: Ant scripts for Playbook development

Just wanted to say thanks! I found this in your initial blog post a couple weeks ago, and they were a huge help to get our scripts up and running.

We now have automated build scripts that target not only playbook, but Android, and multiple iOS versions at the same time.

Re: Ant scripts for Playbook development

When you do release-package I sugget to add option to auto-increase the build version i.e.

<arg value="-buildId">

<arg value="buildId.txt">

Where buildId.txt should be a file in the current directory which has 0 as text (original build version).

After each build it will increment the version. Available in 1.0.1 sdk and up.

How does this work in relation to the App-xml id?

Does it just increment the 4th set of version numbers? ie x.x.x.001?

Re: Ant scripts for Playbook development

To answer my own question, that's exactly whay it does, increments the 4th version number.

Very cool! No more screwing with versions every time I sign, was starting to drive me a little crazy to be honest...

Re: Ant scripts for Playbook development

Hi Elena

Thanks for the suggestion. I've added it to the script with an option to enable and disable it.
