I got an email this morning saying -
Success! You’ve completed the first step toward a free BlackBerry PlayBook tablet.
Your app submission has been successfully received by the team at BlackBerry App World, putting you on the road to qualify for the free BlackBerry PlayBook tablet offer. The BlackBerry App World team reviews each app based on the Vendor Guidelines and we’ll notify you as soon as we have determined if your app qualifies for the free tablet offer. When your app is approved, you will receive an additional email notice requesting a shipping address for the BlackBerry PlayBook tablet. "
This is just an indication of successful submission right ? How long does it take for this email to come..

@manikantan, I've you're really interested I invite you to do a quick scan of the earlier posts in this thread.
Yours has to be at least the tenth message posting pretty much exactly the same thing.

Edit: Sorry for this empty post. I hit the "Post" button on my tablet by mistake and was surprised that you can habe entirely empty messages... Unluckily you can't delete your own messages.

I had my app which was submitted around December 20th finallly approved. It was a long wait possibly because its an app for storing passwords and other private details so no doubt they wanted to be sure it wasn't going to do anything nefarious with them.

Did you ready the email that RIM send to you to leave the app in the same state as is?
You should leave it as is without posting it for sale

That's only for paid applications and he offers a free application.
