Thank you Peter. I appreciate your comments.
I also found those app guidelines after my last post. So I went and resized my icons to 86x86 and have also recompiled with 0.9.4. So now my experiment is to see if this gets my app approved faster. Hey, after 2.5 months waiting on test house I'm game to try anything. Too bad the approval process is such a black box. Who knows, maybe there is something else wrong with my app? I can only guess.

My app was finally approved. Its a simple Mortgage calculator using Air.
Submitted first version on 2/23
Submitted 0.9.4 SDK & signed version - 3/18
Contacted support via the contact link on the help section on Friday (3/18). I asked them if there was something wrong with my app because it was stuck in the test house for a long time for a very simple app.
Finally approved Today (3/20)!

Glad to hear you got your approval. I guess things are moving slowly but still moving.

I got my app approved. I submitted it on March 2 and it was approved last night. It is a 3D Tic Tac Toe game, and by 3D I mean there is three boards to play on. It is not on the app world yet because I had to package it again with 0.9.4, but I expect that won't take long to get approved.

I had one of my AIR apps approved on Mar 18. I submitted it Feb 27th. I did use .93 SDK, I'll go back and apply .94 SDK and resubmit with a few teaks of course ![]()
The app that was approved was a database to manage passwords, pins, serial numbers, registration codes etc. Basically any information that we should remember but always forget, with the added feature of separating uses, business versus personal use.
I think once we have a playbook in our hands, our development ideas will be much better. The simulator is great, but its very hard to get the sense of touch and to visualize the screen resolution and such.
