I submitted a new app yesterday. 

I took part in the original PlayBook contest during launch. With the help of the PlayBook I received, I was able to develop a full fledged app using the Native SDK. Really happy with the results! Having a physical device to the test the app with was very convienient.  

Anyone here participated in the last PlayBook contest, participating again for this years PlayBook offer?

How many time You wait beetwen mail "You're completed the first step..." and mail with link to order formular?

Wow, that's quick.

I have pushed 3 friends to develop an app for free PB (2x Android, 1x AIR). I will see tomorrow their statuses.

Did you get the email from them automatically once your app was approved or did you email them? How many days after approval?

Yup! I'm participating... just working out the kinks in the AI logic in my game.  Although I hate the pressure of a deadline... it certainly is a good motivator! :-D

i submitted a new app on Thursday! got my "You've completed the first step email"!

Was there a form to fill in ot just sending the email was sufficient?

I didn't send any additional emails. Just went through the vendor portal submission process, app was approved on a Wednesday and filled out the shipping email on Saturday. Everything was automatic.

The first PlayBook offer (before PB launch) motivated me to get into app development. Since then I had been planning to make a 2nd app but didn't have the time. This new PlayBook offer was the perfect kick in the butt to get me working on the new app - finished it last night and submitted to App World!

Looking forward to getting the email from the App World team regarding shipping details.
