lol i like your "just go with it" attitude
just one more thing though. first uninstall your application from the simulator and make sure its gone. then try to package your application in a new directory without installing onto the simulator with one command line. and then try to install your newly packaged .bar file using the blackberry-deploy command line but dont try to launch it via that command. after that go into your simulator and find your app and launch it manually. and see what happens.
its a lot of steps but at least you'll know u've tried it all hah!
