Am working on aproject where i need to listen changes for example changes in battery level even though i minimise or close the application..?? Does anyone have any idea..??? Currently my codde doesn't work when minimized or closed..!!!!

Minimized apps are haulted to allow the foreground app to run with the most CPU. You can configure to run around 4Hz in a minimized state, but you need to play nice when minimized. This might help:
