BB10 Gold BBM Working

After the update to the Dev Alpha device, BBM seem to not work (not that it worked well before hand).  All it does now is spin an activity with "Opening BBM".

 

Does anyone know what to do to resolve this?

Did the same for me (i.e. spins forever after updating dev alpha to Gold release).

Also, the calendar app seems to have gotten broken badly.  If you tap on "Add" to

add an appointment, nothing happens, and then if you swipe back and forth several

times to try to go to a different day/week/month, it crashes.

I'm not having the issue you descibed with the calendar. But BBM is still busted.

If you performed an OTA upgrade you'll need to go into the settings application and sign into BlackBerry ID before BBM will connect.

That did it. Hopefully that will be fixed for the final release (redirect them to login).

Mark, should using the autoloader also fix the calendar?  (I did the OTA update)

I was able to reproduce the calendar issue.  Wiping the device and then running the autoloader fixed it for me.
