BB10 Register file extension for invoking with your app

Hi guys,

I've read enough about Invoke framework but I haven't seen how yo register your app to be invoked with any file extension.

How to do that?

I mean, I want to let BB10 users to open ".xyz" files with my app. ¿How to do that? ¿How to allow other developers to know my app can handle .xyz files?

It was mentioned at JAM that RIM will host a page where the core apps schemas are defined as well as allow third-parties to post their application interfaces. I do not believe that has been done yet.

Re: BB10 Register file extension for invoking with your app

Is this still the case or can you make certain file types invoke your app now?

Yes, on BB!0 you can define your own file extensions that will invoke your app.
