Beta 3 installed without incident for me on a Win XP SP3 box. The account used for the install was a user account with admin priveledge, and all other programs were shut down, however AVG antivirus was not disabled. I am not at that computer so can't provide details right now, but it does have some of the optional .NET runtime components that are not normally included in Windows critical updates.
