Re: BBM Social Platform ANE

Have you checked the log files on the device?

Also, make certain you are pointing to the correct version of the ANE as it relates to the SDK version you are using.

I am not quite sure what you mean by this. For the record I am using the Gold version of the SDK from December...

Everything crashes before the logs even get a chance to show anything...

Re: BBM Social Platform ANE

The IDE (assuming FlashBuilder) can reference one SDK, but the ANE in an older project might be referencing a previous version of the SDK. Look at the full path and make certain is is referencing a consistent path the same SDK.

Re: BBM Social Platform ANE

Just incase anyone is still keeping up with this, I've updated the ANE again to also include the invocation functions as well to make one interface that can control all of the BBM functions. It isn't complete yet, but should be completed shortly.

Re: BBM Social Platform ANE

Will this be affected by the 10.2 Beta release in June that includes BBM?

Re: BBM Social Platform ANE

I'm sure it will in some way. Depends on how they implement it. If they are just adding the BBMSP features then it should cover most of what the ANE does as is. But I hope to have the added features which include the BBM invocation options completed in the next week or two. So my ANE may still be relevant if you want one interface to control all of the BBM/BBMSP features.

I just found out that the BBM ANE by Julian is currently available on GitHub and includes a sample. Check it out here - https://github.com/blackberry/Community-APIs-for-AIR/tree/master/BlackBerry10/bbm
