Battery: What happens if an app gets minimized?

Hi,

 

I was wondering what happens if an app gets minimized and the ActiveFrame comes up.

Would it make sense to stop all processes and lower down the frame rate within the app to save battery?

I would qualify that: yes, but...

 

AIR lowers your framerate automatically to 4 fps, unless you explicitly tell it not to, either in your manifest or via an API call:
