I installed the BlackBerryPlayBookSimulator-Installer-1.0.8-6067-Win-201112052354 On windows7 and try to play on the VMWare player it suspends like on the following picture..

please help ....

I think there are many many past threads which talk about all this, with the early simulator, so you might search for guidance from them.

Why are you even using 1.0.8 still though? I think almost nobody has a PlayBook still on 1.0.8, and there are more recent simulators available which may not have that issue.

I also installed the BlackBerryPlayBookSimulator-Installer-2.0.0-7971-Win-201202221232 it also give the same result as seen below.

See this thread for some suggestions, and in general double check your system specs vs. system requirements of the dev environment.

I solve this problem by booting in SAFE Mode. I dnt knw why require this.
