Re: CSJ help

hey Jeff,

what is the exact path of the directory you are in? you can get the path by typing in:

pwd

and when you do that, next type in this command:

ls

then paste the out put of both commands in this post. good luck!

Re: CSJ help

What platform are you on?

Which bin folder are you CDing to?

What do you see in that folder if you look at a directory listing?

If you are on Windows and have a blackberry-signer.bat file in that directory, you will not get that error when you type the command unless you also don't have Java installed, or at least available in your PATH environment variable.

(Is it safe to assume you're a complete rookie at using the command line?)

Re: CSJ help

hey jeff,

there migh be an underlying issue. instead of doing just hte short hand version, try to write out the entire path like this:

"/Applications/Adobe Flash Builder Burrito/sdks/blackberry-tablet-sdk-0.9.3/bin/"blackberry-signer -csksetup -cskpass abc123

Note: Remember the quotes and do it exactly as it is above. good luck!

Re: CSJ help

On the Mac, which is a Posix system, you can't execute programs in the current directory just by typing their name.  You need to prefix the name with ./, so in this case you'd do "./blackberry-signer".  It's a protection mechanism to prevent some too-frequent cases of "pilot error".
