Cannot connect to Debugger

Hi,

the title is very clear i think.... My Flashbuilder can't connect to the debugger correctly... That's very strange because i did everything like in the office today.. There everything works like a charm....

Any ideas? Read a lot on google for this problem, but nothing seems to help. Can't be such a hard thing?

greetings.

Re: Cannot connect to Debugger

Could be a firewall between your PlayBook and your computer running Flash Builder. From what I recall PlayBook connects back to your computer on port TCP 7935 and you need to ensure it is enabled for incoming connections. Also check in Edit Test Device screen the "Debug Host IP" is set to Automatically or manually provide IP address of the Flash Builder PC you want PlayBook to use to connect to (in case you have multiple NICs). Hope this helps.

Re: Cannot connect to Debugger

 Hey,

the solution:

adding vmware player(!!) to the Windows Firewall... :-)

VmAre (as Software) still was in the list, but the player wasn't... Annoying, but maybe it will help someone else.

greets.
