Adobe AIR Development

I know that the smartphones have the Contact application and this database can be accessed from external applications. Anybody know if there is any plan to have a similar application available on Playbook?

Maybe extending a little bit this question, is there a list of Playbook's built-in applications (like contact list, calendar, etc...) ?

as of right now there is no api that allows you to really use the native functions of the playbook... i assume when they said to start writing apps using adobe air they just wanted some visually appealing apps and games.. nothing along the lines of a super app that promotes integration of applications.
