Creating application just using HTML, JavaScript and CSS

Is it possible to create applications just using HTML, JavaScript and CSS? That is without using Flash/SWF.

Re: Creating application just using HTML, JavaScript and CSS

But Adobe AIR offers either of Flash, Flex or HTML/Javascript for development. Therefore, the question is will we be able to develop using the HTML/Javascript method of AIR development.

Hoping for an answer soon.

Hi bert2002,

The BlackBerry WebWorks beta for PlayBook will be out very, very, very early in the new year.   This will allow you to share code between your PlayBook application and a BlackBerry Smartphone application using the WebWorks platform.

Absolutely, we'll be posting it everywhere (forums, blogs etc) and sending a mailing out to those who subscribed to the PlayBook SDK update mailing list:smileyhappy:
