Hi,
Does custom fonts like "Frutiger Next Pro" be integrated in the BB PlayBook application using Adobe AIR.
It was been found that the device does not contain this font in the OS, but will it be able to handle the font.

Yes. Look up: adobe air embed font. You'll get pages showing how to do this in CS, actionscript, and flex.
That's a Linotype face and should come with a license allowing embedding. You have to already have the font on your development machine, though.
