After successfully getting the AIRHelloWorld to work on my first day, now I'm stuck...
Deployment failed: 1Error: Cannot connect to target: Connection timed out: connect
I've updated to Flash Builder 4.01 and updated Flash to various versions all to no avail.
I've been trying to get over this hurdle for 12 hours now. I've tried disabling firewalls and anti-viruses etc.
Any help would be appreciated.

Are you certain your simulator is in development mode? It resets every time it is rebooted. Do you also have the IP address right?
The packager tool does its magic by uploading the .bar file to https://<Simulator IP>/appInstaller.html . If you visit that address do you get a web form for uploading .bar files?
If the page loads then it's an issue with the packager. If the page doesn't load it's an issue with the simulator.

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction!
Trying https://192.168...... in my browser (no response) showed it was the simulator.
I noticed the 2 Network connections in the Network and Sharing Center were not there like before.
I ran a Repair on VMWare to get it to reset the Connections again.
Unfortunately, that didn't work like I was hoping it would. I even triple-checked the IP number.
Took my daughter to a friend's. Came back home to wrestle some more...
I uninstalled all Flash programs and installed the latest Flash release 10.1 from http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/
Still didn't work.
I checked my Virtual Machine IP number and somehow it was different than before... It must have changed while I was away or when I re-installed Flash??? Not sure if that's even possible. Anyway, I plugged the new IP number into Flash Builder and now it's all back to normal.
Again, thanks for pointing me in the right direction.
