Accepted Solution

Detecting Q10 and Z10

Is there a way to detect whether the phone that the app is working in is a  Q10 or a Z10 with AIR?

Thanks!

Re: Detecting Q10 and Z10

I have a static function to look at the stage width and height to see if they are the same. If so, its a Q10. However, I only do that once at the start of the app and use CSS everywhere else. You have to assume that their might be other screen resolutions in the future and if you do not use CSS now, it will be a major headache later on.

Re: Detecting Q10 and Z10

Thanks,

I had tried Capabilities.screenResolutionX/Y and stage widht/height. However, it did not return anything meaningful to me.. But it seems the problem is on my side.

Re: Detecting Q10 and Z10

It seems I have been comparing Capabilities.screenResolutionX with 700 rather than 720... = /

But Capabilities.screenResolutionX works...
