Hi,

Will you please try reloading the software using the autoloader? https://developer.blackberry.com/devzone/blackberry10devalpha/devalpha_update.html 

Factory resets will remove all third party apps and sometimes core apps are included. Well they will remain but sometimes the core of them get effected.

I already did this at midday. did not solved the problem. it's the same problem apman descriped.

This link still seems to be pointing to an older version though: Autoload-DevAlpha-10.0.09.2320.exe

(I installed 10.9.9.339 OTA today, but all previous updates I always did with the autoloader, and the camera got messed up anyway)

same for me.

after the latest update the camera works now. it was definitely the update before which broke it. it's a pity because I couldn't finish my app on time and had to submit a minor quality (cr)app. I hope this won't effect my chance to get a developer device.

Yes, mine works as well now. Even the time-shift - pretty neat!
