is there any provision to install java/j2me application in PlayBook????

Not yet..its under development. I think but there are plans underway to deploy them soon.

Where "soon" would best be defined as some time after May 3-5, which is when the native SDK is supposed to be available in beta form. They've said in the past that Java will be supported after the native SDK, though of course that can always change.

So, you're saying that the current SDK of Playbook is not the native one. Anyways, lets hope for the best to happen in the near-by future & support our java applications.

QNX is a C/C++ environment which is considered the "native" environment. AIR runs on top of this environment (as well as Java). The plan is that the look of each development environment will be the same so the user will not know (or care) which they are in.

@smiley: the QNX OS is too fast for OS6 apps - it'd run so fast you wudnt even see it run! ![]()
