I get errors trying to deploy to the simulator and finally got around to try to deploy to the device and I get these errors with a very simple example in FDT 5.x:

ERROR Unsupported file type: C:\data\fdt_workspace\bb10sample

Pure build time: 62 ms.

Clean compiler information in 0 ms. 
Could not create file C:\data\fdt_workspace\bb10sample\bin\bb10sample.swf.
Build failed.

 Anyone been able to deploy from FDT (Free version)?

Is anyone using FDT to build AIR apps to the Dev Alpha device?

Gave up on FDT. Maybe it will get better with time. Created a new Workspace and reference that to the 3.0 BB SDK and everything works like a charm. Also, the original workspace maintained its reference to the 2.0 BB SDK so PlayBook development can continue.
