I would like to recommend some changes on the code signing web form located here, http://www.blackberry.com/go/codesigning/.
Here is the text in the Registration PIN section:
Your PIN can be any 6-10 digit, lowercase, alphanumeric code. Your PIN protects against usage of your Code Signing Keys by unauthorized parties, so keep it safe. RIM reserves the right to request that you choose another PIN if deemed unsuitable.
• Please emphasize and strengthen the word, "lowercase" in the text above. I've visited that form many times and didn't notice until I read on another forum post that passwords are lowercased.
• Please fix the form validation.
- If the password contains uppercase letters please do not lowercase them. Mark the field red and show an error message. I pasted the password in and didn't notice the uppercase letters were lowercased
- If the password field is greater than 10 digits in length don't trim the extra characters off.
Basically don't do anything without telling me.
In the Personal Information section is the Company field have anything to do with the P12 certificate? Does the Company field have to match the Author in the certification?
The link in this text, BlackBerry Code Signing Keys are now absolutely free! Learn more about code signing,
points to the same page it is on.

Thanks for the feedback. I've sent it to our website team to see about making the form work better.

I've learned that the old form is just around for now until we can get it taken down. The new form is much better and is linked in each development microsite. The AIR one is here: https://bdsc.webapps.blackberry.com/air/signingkey
