File transfer using 1.0.1 simulator

[ Edited ]

I haven't read anything about it, but just to be sure: is it possible using the latest simulator to transfer files onto the simulated PlayBook?

EDIT: Oops I appeared to have read over this line

Impact: You cannot upload test files to shared folders.

Workaround: Upload files to shared folders using SCP or SFTP.

Does anyone know how to connect using SFTP?

@zezke, what platform are you using?  Post that info if you need help.

There have been past posts about this, as it works basically the same now as it did with 0.9.4 (though you can't connect using the 0.9.4 SDK).

Oh right, I forget this used to be possible. Thank you for your help.

For those wondering the same as me: check this topic.

Re: File transfer using 1.0.1 simulator

BTW, I've been meaning to write up a more detailed and updated description of the whole thing, but was waiting for 1.0 in case anything changed (no sign that it has), and hoping others would show some sign of wanting it.

How quickly I get to that will depend on how many people it may help.  Please let me know here, or in a PM, or Tweet (same userid), and I'll prioritize work that based on the response.
