Please be aware that Flash Builder 4.5 final would not support Air 2.5, which is only runtime currently available for playbook. If you develop with Flex and mxml there is no official workaround which would allow you to run application created with newer flex on the Playbook. Also you would not be able to download "older" flex and "burrito" pre-release anymore, which is the only version of flex which supports air 2.5 (playbook). Flex apps targeting air 2.6 would not run on current version of playbook.
If you use only Action Script there is a workaround available, which is described in release notes.
If you want to experiment with new Flash Builder please make a copy of FB "burrito" installer or flex 4.5 "hero" sdk
in case you want to revert.

Thanks for the information.
I'll keep the old FB until everything works.
That's my plan too. I keep reading conflicting reports of whether 4.5 final will work with the Playbook or not.
What I'm really looking forward to is the NDK.

I just read this: http://deleteaso.com/developing-for-playbook-with-
It is a very good write-up on how to get your actionscript only apps to run on the PlayBook using Flash Builder 4.5.

That is a great blog! However, take note... It will only work for actionscript mobile projects. You can not use a the flex mobile project or flex components because it requires air 2.6 However, if you join the adobe pre-release program in the forums you can download a "monkey patched swc" some one made to overcome this issue.
