Re: Flash Builder 4 Signing (0.9.4)

Yes, but nothing helped.

I'll stick with the command line option...

Re: Flash Builder 4 Signing (0.9.4)

The steps and screenshots in our doc are incorrect.  They will be updated ASAP.

The key step is NOT to do "File -> Export -> Release Build" but instead DO "File -> Export -> Other -> BlackBerry Tablet OS Release Build".

If you do that and follow the steps in the wizard you should be fine.

Re: Flash Builder 4 Signing (0.9.4)

I'm sure it would work fine, if there was an option called "BlackBerry Tablet OS Release Build" in that dialog box...

Re: Flash Builder 4 Signing (0.9.4)

If you don't have that it sounds like 0.9.4 did not install correctly.  I've attached screenshots of what you should see (from Flash Builder 4.0.1).

Did you delete the 0.9.3 directory found in the sdks directory within the Flash Builder installation directory?

Did you install as an administrator?  Try restarting Flash Builder and run as administrator if this is the first time it's been run since 0.9.4 was installed.

Re: Flash Builder 4 Signing (0.9.4)

@MSohm

You wrote in Developer Issue Tracker to reply in this topic. The problem is that this topic is for Flash Builder 4. I'm using Flash Builder Burrito and there is no Other option in export.

Re: Flash Builder 4 Signing (0.9.4)

I am also having problems in Burrito. If I click on Project, Export Release Build and choose my project, I then click on BlackBerry PlayBook as the target platform. When I finalize everything, it says it was successful, but when I unzip my .bar file there is only one file in the manifest folder.

Re: Flash Builder 4 Signing (0.9.4)

@ddluk - Burrito has a diffrent workflow where export is integrated for all platforms, for 4.5 it is correct - just use export dialog and selected target platform

Re: Flash Builder 4 Signing (0.9.4)

It is not correct that's why I open the Issue TABLET-129 but someone close it. Bar file is exported in Flash Builder Burrito but is not signed.

Re: Flash Builder 4 Signing (0.9.4)

@ddluk,

I'm assuming we are having the same problem. When I do that, there is only one file in the manifest folder when I unzip my .bar file. Does that mean we have to resort back to command line signing?

Re: Flash Builder 4 Signing (0.9.4)

The "Other" option is not present in version 4.0.  You can use Release Build in 4.5.

The documentation has been updated with corrected steps.  Please have a look at the link below and post if you continue to have issues.
