Flash Lite for BlackBerry PlayBook

Hello all,

I have been reading that the playbook supports flash 10.1

I have some flash lite applications which I would like to publish on the playbook. Would this be possible without converting them into AIR?

Thanks

Malcolm

Re: Flash Lite for BlackBerry PlayBook

No you will have to compile them for Flash Player 10.1 or AIR 2.5

Re: Flash Lite for BlackBerry PlayBook

ok Thanks

So I would just use Flash 10.1

How would I need to package the file so that I can place it on the playbook. I can't use the batch process blackberry-airpackager.bat to package the bar file anymore.

Re: Flash Lite for BlackBerry PlayBook

I don't believe you can do anything but Air 2.5 right now.

From the tablet website:

Coming soon: support for content and applications using Adobe Flash 10.1 and HTML5 with the BlackBerry PlayBook Simulator with the BlackBerry® Browser. Register to be notified of new developments in the BlackBerry Tablet OS SDK

Re: Flash Lite for BlackBerry PlayBook

Correct, as it stands right now only Air SDK has been released. Flash, HTML5 (JavaScript) under "WebWorks" brand, Java and Native SDK are all "coming soon" from what we are beiong told...
