Fonts removed in 1.0.1 (mainly BBAlpha stuff)

It appears all the BB fonts have been removed in 1.0.1.  I don't have a complete list from 0.9.4 handy, but here's the full list from 1.0.1:

font count 46
Adobe Gothic Std L
Adobe Heiti Std R
Adobe Ming Std L
Adobe Text Pro
Adobe Thai
Andale Mono
Arial
Arial Black
Bengali OTS
Bitstream Vera Sans
Bitstream Vera Sans Mono
Bitstream Vera Serif
Comic Sans MS
Courier New
DejaVu Sans
DejaVu Sans Condensed
DejaVu Sans Light
DejaVu Sans Mono
DejaVu Serif
DejaVu Serif Condensed
Devanagari OTS
Georgia
Gujarati OTS
Gurmukhi OTS
Impact
Kannada OTS
Liberation Mono
Liberation Sans
Liberation Serif
Malayalam OTS
Myriad Pro
Myriad Pro SemiCond
Ryo Gothic PlusN B
Ryo Gothic PlusN R
Ryo Text PlusN L
Ryo Text PlusN M
Tahoma
Tamil OTS
Telugu OTS
Times New Roman
Trebuchet MS
Verdana
Webdings
Wingdings
Wingdings 2
Wingdings 3

Since BBAlpha Sans was the default prior to 0.9.4, to work around the change to Myriad Pro in 0.9.4, I had overridden the font everywhere in my app to be back to BBAlpha Sans.  Obviously that doesn't work for 1.0.1, so I guess I have no choice now but to face the change to Myriad Pro.

There also appear to be some other slight differences in this area but I haven't pinned them down yet, and they belong in a different thread anyway.

Hey peter,

Thanks for the heads up -- quick question though. Is the dejavu font similar to bb alpha sans?

I can say that when I needed to import a font (i.e. so I could rotate the text), I always used Deja Vu Sans, and it was indistinguishable to me.

The default fonts and sizes in the alertDialog() class has changed. I've got to redo all of my alert dialog boxes.

If you want something more similar to BBAlpha Arial is pretty close. But Myriad Pro is a nice font and is the default font on the device.

I'm happy with DejaVu Sans Condensed

My app's font sizing and spacing was really messed up by the change, but setting everything to DejaVu Sans and size 16 fixed everything.  Looks pretty much the same.
