Hi daniellorenzin,

They were pretty quick with me. Once they received my defective PlayBook, I got a FedEx confirmation that my new PlayBook was on its way that same day.

just a quick update, fedex returned my playbook yesterday ( or today, depends where in the world u are) and touchstone/tmgideas dispatched a replacement right away.

How long did it take FedEx to contact you after you contacted tmg? It's been two weeks for me now and i haven't heard back from either tmg or FedEx.

i received an email from tmg that fedex would pickup the next day.

 

And about lunch time the following day i received a phone call from fedex stating that there would be a driver there by 5pm.

 

Sure enough at 4pm, driver was ready and waiting.

 

It was a very painless experience.

I sent an email about 2 weeks ago to BlackberryPlaybookReturns@tmgideas.com about my broken playbook and have had no response. I have a battery that doesn't hold a charge and I can't even update it which might fix the problem because it's too flat.

 

Is there a contact for someone at RIM?

Try mailing them again. I did and got a quick response that said fedex would contact me. Thats been 2 weeks again now and nothing happend so all in all i'm waiting for almost 2 months for an exchange now Smiley Sad

Hello,

My playbook I got from the free playbook deal won't turn on anymore.

Starting from October 18th, I've tried emailing BlackberryPlaybookReturns@tmgideas.com and they've been sending FedEx people to pick-up the package.

The trouble is, they haven't sent me a shipping label or shipping address so I've had to turn FedEx away each time.

Are they no longer providing shipping labels? If so, where can I get the shipping address (I suppose in this case I would have to pay for shipping).

I've asked them last week about this issue, yet they sent another FedEx pickup without replying to my email at all. I'm feeling really bad for FedEx drivers right now.

Hope someone can shed some light on this, thanks!

Did you try holding the power button for about 10 seconds? Once the red light flashes, let go.

Yup, I've tried that. I also made sure that the Playbook was fully charged before trying to turn it on.
