Hi!

I just got the notification that my app qualifies for the free playbook offer and I have already completed the shiping request. Now the emails says that 'tablets will ship as soon as they are ready and commercially available in your region'.

As I live in Germany I'm wondering: Will I have to wait for my playbook until the not yet announced release in Europe? Or will it ship with the others on April 19th? Does anyone have information on this?

The terms and conditions state that the device will be distribute when it is available in your country, however mike Kirkup has said (on record) that all developer devices will be shipped at the same time. This has been covered many times and none of us can truly give an answer other than to say that they'll hopefully all be shipping out soon.

Is it BY 19th or is RIM shipping ON 19th? Mystery of life - although it's couple of days difference

Actually many of us are expecting ours earlier than the 19th, but RIM has not said.  Nobody knows!j  It could be later than that... it could be today.

Not sure how many times this has to be said.  This is probably at least the 10th thread in the last two weeks about it, or where it's come up.

up to my understanding it will ship to you only when it released in europe

As said on other threads, RIM said they want to ship to all dev's at the same time
