Re: HOWTO: Sign your Applications from CMD

Not sure if this will help, but try it without the capitals (all lowercase). I ran into a similiar problem and had to remove all numbers and use only lowercase.

Re: HOWTO: Sign your Applications from CMD

TensionCore that guide was perfect. I finally got around to signing my app and every step went off without a hitch. My simulator won't load so I can't verify that my app will actually install, but I checked the manifest files and everything looks as it should.

I honestly have to admit that was way easier then I thought, thanks guys!

Re: HOWTO: Sign your Applications from CMD

Assuming you did the other steps without error?

What is the full command that you are doing that produced this error?

Re: HOWTO: Sign your Applications from CMD

Could you post the command you used (remeber to obfuscate your password).

Cheers

Re: HOWTO: Sign your Applications from CMD

I haven't got any errors. It told me, that the csk file was created (but I dont see it). it successfully registered with the server... and it gave me a p12 file... all was ok until I got this error...

blackberry-signer -verbose -cskpass <numberscharsnumber> -keystore <alllowercase>.p12 -storepass <sameasabove> <alllowercase>.bar RDK

Re: HOWTO: Sign your Applications from CMD

  • Is the p12 file in the bin directory of the 093 SDK?
  • Are you executing the command in the project directory where the BAR file will be created?
  • Are you executing the correct blackberry-signer script that resides in the 093/bin directory?
