4.After you Open Command prompt and write our SDK Path with bin folder and then run this Command

blackberry-deploy -installApp -device Device_Ip -password _Password -package yourApplication.bar

* And then more thnik is You put your .bar file in the SDK bin Folder.

* That unsigned bar files cannot be installed in the real device this way, only signed ones.

Re: How the install Application in the BlackBerry Playbook Devices?

Are there any aspects of this which are not merely identical to how the simulator works? I'm trying to figure out why you posted it, since it looks like all the previous "how to's" on installing from the command line.

Also, you didn't mention that unsigned bar files cannot be installed in the real device this way, only signed ones.

Re: How the install Application in the BlackBerry Playbook Devices?

I notice in the documentation they are talkiing about installing the debug token

blackberry-deploy -installDebugToken <path to debug token> -device <IP address of tablet>
-password <tablet password>

I keep getting this ...

Sending Install Debug Token request...
Info: Action: Install Debug Token
Info: File size: 100
Error: failed to install debug token

And I've noticed you're not mentioning this at all.

Are you not using it at all or skipping the step?

Re: How the install Application in the BlackBerry Playbook Devices?

As far as I know unsigned .bar-Files can be installed using debug Tokens. Signed .bar-Files don't need a debug-token.

You have to set your PlayBook to "receive debug token" to install the token.
