This error is because the AIR runtime on the desktop does not have a
qnx.pps.PPSChannel class. You shouldn't get this error run in the simulator or PlayBook.
See this blog for a workaround
Renuan Workaround for PPS Class if you need this in the desktop.
I think it should be qnx-screen.swc to be external.

This is the error I am getting now.
VerifyError: Error #1014: Class qnx.ui.text::TextInput could not be found.
Is it possible for you to give me a sample file?

Read this thread
As to the sample file, I dont know what it is you are trying to do. You have the code to read the PB Pin.

I am just trying to access the Blackberry ID or the pin entered on my playbook through an application created in flash.
I have created an application with 5 games and need BBID or thr PIN to insert score in the database. I am not asking the user to enter his name when he starts the application. I want to pick up the BBID or PIN directly from the device.
I am using blackberry-tablet-sdk-1.0.2 to package my application to .bar file.

Ok, wondering why your still having trouble so I setup a test project of my own, and Man did it give me problems.
Here's what I had to do.
The qnx-air.swc linking is external, this stops the native methods not allowed error,
blackberry.swc and qnx-screen.swc leave link type as merged into code.
use the following commands
now place this command in your Main Constructor to see what it returns
trace("Device Pin: "+Device.device.pin);
This code works on my simulator and returns a value of
Device Pin: 0x21d42ffe.
If this still doesn't work for you please paste some code here.
