How to give aspect ratio..?

Am a beginer in bb10 platform. Currently am doing a project where i need to set images. Could any one tell me how to do it..?? I heard something regarding aspectRation , but i couldn't find any such methods..

or actually i want to set two images as tabs (i dont need buttons ).Thanks in advance.
