I wonder how to handle gesture events, like sliding your finger, or the pinch gesture. Anybody already knows that?
I've tried but I couldn't find this information.

this is possible and supported by AIR. You will find all the documentation you need on the livedocs:
For now, you can't simulate a gesture on a Playbook Simulator but if you have an android device (or a mac with a multitouch touchpad), you can try on it with the same code
Have fun .

That's interesting. I've a android phone available. It might be cool test it.
This actually made me think about what is really in Blackberry SDK? Is it all Adobe Air?

Your phone need to run FroYo (2.2) tu run AIR. Basically, if you can find AIR in the Market, you can have your application on your phone. For more information, sign up in the Adobe AIR for Android program.
The BB SDK is mostly AIR, they just added some components (QNX) and removed some APIs for now (Camera, Microphone, ...)

hmm, too bad. My Acer Liquid E has Android 2.1 and I don't see any update on sight.
Well, still I can read the documentation to know what to do.

I'd be surprised if you can't use gestures with your own programs on the simulator. You can use gestures to background an app or switch between them (provided you start off the visible edge of the screen) so I know the code is there.
