Internet access from PlayBook Simulator

I have PlayBook Simulator installed running under VMWare and it is working fine. I am able to package and run my AIR application without any problem.

My question is regarding Internet access from the simulator, is it possible? The internet link from the simulator interface doesnt work, and my attempt to load URL from AIR app failed as well.

Any thoughts?

Re: Internet access from PlayBook Simulator

Hi,

I don't know why this isn't in a new thread...

Yes, internet access works from the simulator.  The "Internet" label in the simulator is a folder description - A place to put all your Internet applications.  The RSSreader from RIM and the web browser apps posted on this forum do access URLs from the simulator.
