As you've likely seen, the 1.0.1 SDK and simulator have been released.
In the past, we've ended up with "mega threads" that lump all kinds of problem reports in together, which has made it very hard to anyone to follow, especially when solutions show up 10 posts after the questions, with a dozen other issues in between.
To avoid that please do NOT post in this thread without first creating a separate thread for your issue, but then link to it from this thread, preferably including a simple summary of the problem. One post here, per issue, if at all possible!
Also please be very sure to read this thread first to see if your issue has already been noted, and also read the updated documentation including the Release Notes and Fixed Issues. Remember, if you find an issue, it's much more likely that it's already been found and reported than that you're the first to see it (judging by the last four months).
Thank you for your cooperation, and Happy Hacking! ![]()

Mentioned on the Release Notes, you can run into an error when trying to run the VM from the default install directory.04-18-2011 11:14 PM
There are a bunch of fonts removed in 1.0.1, most significantly the BBAlpha Sans font, which was the default prior to 0.9.4.

I can't seem to get flash content to work in the browser - I know that's not dev related but just wondering! (Youtube won't work, flash games seem to freeze it up)
EDIT: whoops, sorry!

File browsing is still broken. Loading seems fine, but saving is broken in an all new way.

I haven't started digging yet, but using the normal AIR File API (FileStream) to write files to File.applicationStorageDirectory does not appear to be working.

This could be an issue for many, though a cosmetic one. The advice regarding application icons has been revised, or at least clarified in a way we never interpreted it before. See my post about it, which links to the new docs.
