Negative padding

When I have 2 buttons in a container, even with 0 padding they don't actually touch eachother. I want the buttons to nearly touch. I found that setting the padding to -4 worked perfectly.

Is this ok, or is this sort of a "hack" that I should avoid?

Re: Negative padding

if it's possible it's allowed. negative margins shouldn't be a problem.we are not talking about star hacks in IE..

Re: Negative padding

Ahaha, yes, that's exactly why I was asking was because of the "hacks" in IE and other browsers that aren't always the best way to do things. :smileyhappy:
