Just downloaded SDK Beta 3 and Simulator Beta 2... Video and sound are working (to the extent that I tested, which was a 20 second FLV with sound).
Excellent work guys!
BTW, the development password now appears to be required. Be sure to update your run configuration (ie. in Flash Builder, the "Device Password:" field) so that the two match.
Cheers,
Ken

I was just going to start a thread about the new SDK and refreshed the page in time to see this post.
I will download this a little later and can't wait to see the new additions.
Also, I noticed that the free playbook offer was extended ( in the Terms and Conditions ) until March 15, 2011. That is great for all those who want to saturate... I mean submit as many apps as possible to App World ![]()
I was happy to see the time extension as I have about four more applications I want to get done and submitted. I am sure that I will certainly come up with more as I keep writing them, just like many of you.
JRab, I think they did this specifically because you shocked the world with your announcement that you haven't submitted anything, yet. ![]()

Yep, the site was updated at 13:40 EST today.
See the Release Notes for what's changed in the SDK. I haven't found a simulator "release notes" page yet.

Unfortunately, currently the link to the Windows simulator is bad. It has the same file id (the part after "dl=" in the URL) as the Linux SDK!
Someone made a copy/paste error there...
Edit: they fixed it, and the link is fine now.

I wrote above that the "simulator for Windows" link is bad (points to the Linux SDK) and that's true for the AIR page. Fortunately they didn't copy that copy/paste error in the WebWorks page.
To get the 0.9.2 simulator for Windows, use this download link until they fix the one on the Tablet OS for AIR page. Edit: it's fixed already. The link on the AIR SDK page should work now.

Thanks for the windows download link.
(I guess they are really excited about now supporting Linux)
