Thanks guys!
I must have picked up the 90x90 maximum but not the 86x86 recommendation somewhere along the line.
I'll resubmit. Still playing the waiting game anyway ![]()

Ah well resubmitted again. In a way this was kind of a good thing because it resulted in me completely redoing the icon into one of the nicest ones I've made in a long time.
Now if only the app would get approved... Anyone with a non-AIR app who got his/hers approved yet?

Good luck with the application approval!

Hello,
I am checking App Word everyday to see how many Playbook applications are approved. Few days back, when I searched "Playbook" it was showing 125 applications.
Today, when I searched again, it's showing only 107 applications.
Whats going on? Anyone else noticed this?

This search returns the number of PlayBook applications available for sale. There is no way to explicitly query on the accepted flag.
The change in numbers is caused by a change to App World itself. We've updated the way we do device selection in the vendor portal, BlackBerry apps and Playbooks are separate now.
Previously, searching for PlayBook could have included BlackBerry Smartphone applications as well.

So after all this time we only have 48 apps for PlayBook in AppWorld?
Looks like RIM needs to hire more testers ![]()

Thanks for the explanation Mark, but it's not quite the behaviour I'm seeing.
For example a signed and approved app of mine, posted for sale and only released for the PlayBook does not show up when I search for Playbook. I can also see no way of specifying whether I want Smartphone or Playbook apps, unless there is a different app world webstore for Tablets to the standard:
http://appworld.blackberry.com/webstore/?lang=en
My guess is that it has a lot to do with RIM adding a ™ after every occurance of PlayBook in an app's description. Those that are being now retuned either have it in the title, or were just ones that got away from RIM.
Compare and contrast:
http://appworld.blackberry.com/webstore/search/Pla
vs
http://appworld.blackberry.com/webstore/search/Pla
47 + 77 = 124 !
Unintended consequences?

I feel that they are going backwards...
get it together!

I don't think they are going backwards, just transitioning into having a new device in app world. Eventually all submitted playbook apps will be under a playbook category, and this is part of that as they move apps out of the phone categories and into the playbook ones
