[ Edited ]

I am try to export a BAR file.  When I click "Export"->"Other"  I do not see "Export BlackBerry Tablet OS Release Build..." under Flash Builder

I am using Flash Builder 4.0.1. I am using SDK version 0.9.4.

Re: Problem Exporting BAR file

@kajohnson: Make sure the default SDK is in fact set to 0.9.4 and run flash builder as admin even if you are an admin via Right Click and going to "Run as Administrator"

@ericcwhung: You must update your SDK to 0.9.4 to see the option.

Re: Problem Exporting BAR file

while I didn't use that option I have the exact same setup as you kajohnson and I checked and I DO have that option. It also should be in the project menu in the menu bar. If you click on the "Project" menu bar you should have:

Build Automatically

Build All

Build Project

Build Working Set

Clean

-------------------------

Export Release Build...

Export Blackberry Tablet OS Release Build

-------------------------

Properties

Re: Problem Exporting BAR file

Also are you in the Perspective of Flash or Flash Debug?

I tested it and if you are in anything else the options will not be there.

I was having issues also. If you are using burrito make sure the Blackberry sdk is installed properly do you see BlackBerry Tablet in the target devices. Also make sure it is a Mobile Flex Application. My app was not since it was first written in Flash 4 and then transfered to Burrito. After I transfered it I was unable to export it because I did not get those options. But ya make sure the BlackBerry SDK is installed properly and is set as the SDK for the app and make sure it is a mobile flex project then you should be fine and its very easy and straight forward.

NEVER MIND just saw you are using flex 4 not 4.5 disregard, SORRY!!!!

Re: Problem Exporting BAR file

Thanks, JRab! Both these peices of advice worked for me. I had to upgrade to 94 and then run in Admin mode.
