Hi to everyone,

I am using a section list to display the data,

I am  set the columnwidth to stage width(my column data is large for some entries).

my problem is iam getng the extra dots(..) in the list,

iam not using any cell renderiung classes.

 can any one tell how to get the my original data witj\hout any extra "..." s

Weekend posts can take a little more time to respond to.

If the text is short and should fit in your list, my guess is that you are setting the control to the stage width too soon. Trace the stage width at the time you are setting it, and I will guess that it is 0. Try listening to the list "add to stage" event, and then set the columnwidth. Alternatively, you can do a setTimeout for 100ms to do similar.

Thanks to your response my queries,

I tried it before,bt it wont work,

thats why i staticly defines width as 500. eventhough  i got ".."s, 

eventually idint loss any data means entire ".."s are coming with my complete data

So if you statically set the width, you still get ellipses?
Is this BB10 (long text fades out instead of ellipses) fuse or fuse or regular for PB?
If you create your own renderer, you can override the label behavior to not do the ellipses.
