Processing FileBundle, please wait: the process takes more than an hour

I'm trying to submit my bar file to app world portal and it's taking more than an hour to process filebundle.

I'm in new releases submission, step 4.

Re: Processing FileBundle, please wait: the process takes more than an hour

It normally takes about 30 seconds when I do it for a 945kb .bar file. I'd say there's an issue with your browser (they don't really officially support every browser as stated on the homepage)

NOTE: This site is only supported on Microsoft Internet Explorer 7 or newer as well as Mozilla Firefox 3 or newer. Using any other browser may have unexpected effects such as missing or broken functionality. For compatibility reasons, please use one of the previously mentioned browsers to navigate this website.

I'd try the process from a different browser, such as Firefox, and it should all be fine.

Obviously there will be other things like the size of your .bar file (i.e. the bigger the longer it takes), and your internet connection speeds.

Hope that helps you.

Cheers

Re: Processing FileBundle, please wait: the process takes more than an hour

I've been trying to submit our Playbook app today and I've been looking at this 'processing filebundle' message for over an hour now. Granted the .bar file is around 45mb, but I'm not sure how much longer to wait. I already restarted it once after waiting for 30mins.

Try a different browser.  Should upload very quickly.

Re: Processing FileBundle, please wait: the process takes more than an hour

Have you been able to upload before or is this the first time?  Do you have a friend that can try it under Windows?

Re: Processing FileBundle, please wait: the process takes more than an hour

I get it working uploading first a small file (3 Mb). After uploading it, I've deleted it and then I upload my 13MB bar file.

Re: Processing FileBundle, please wait: the process takes more than an hour

This is the first time I've uploaded anything to the vendor portal. I gave up on Firefox/Mac and am now trying with IE/Windows, but it's been almost 30mins and still sitting on the processing screen.

I guess I'll try uploading a small dummy file and replacing it with the larger file. I'm double checking everything in the files but without any kind of meaningful error message I'm just scratching me head here.

Re: Processing FileBundle, please wait: the process takes more than an hour

When progress bar stop, it takes no more than one minute to show file uploaded.

Try to upload from two differents browsers at the same time and not wait too more to try again.

This is only and advice.
