I'm using the QNX List component with a custom cell renderer to display multiple commments. My issue is that each comment can be a different height depending on the length of the string so I want each row to be able to have a unique height. Looking at the documentaion for the List the rowHeight property will give every row the same height.
Has anyone else implemented anyhting similar? would I be better off just using a scrollpane and stacking MovieClips vertically within it?
Any guidance is appreciated.

QNX List only has one height for all cells. You will probably have to create your own list component using ScrollPane to manage variable height cells. If you dont have a lot of items in the list, it will be pretty simple. If you have hundreds of items, then you may want to cache and reuse labels like the QNX list does.
