Qnx Label text not positioned correctly

Hello Everyone,

I've got a class which extends Label.  The class is basically just a normal label with some extra stuff like setFont() which takes a textFormat item and set it to the labels format field.  Anyway it's basically a shell and uses the standard implementation of the Label.  So.  I create the label as below and add it to a horizontal flow container.  The text truncates where it should at labelWidth.  However the text height is strange. First the top left corner of the text shows up about half way down the container and is then cut off.  The height of the field and container are both set to 48 pixels and the font size is 48 but when I run that trace on labelField.textHeight I can see that the textHeight is 60.  Anyway Any ideas as to why the text is being offset incorrectly?  Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks

    labelField = new FixedWidthLabelField(style);
            labelField.text = label == null ? " " : label + " ";

            labelField.setFont(font);

            labelField.width = labelWidth;
            labelField.height = this.height;
            labelField.y = 0;
            labelField.label_txt.y = 0;
            trace(labelField.textHeight);
