Quick help needed to package and sign application.

Hey guys,

I am in the process of submitting my application.

 

I went through the firest process of managing my products and added the product. Now I can see my saved product name, status shows Draft and Releases and Goods show None.

 

What do I need to do now to submit my app? What is Goods? Do we need to do that?

 

Question1: How to package the application?

Question2: Do I need to sign the applicatin for the free PB offer? 

I know I can follow few threads to sign it but can I sign an app later. If that is possible I will try to postpone it to save time and submite the app before midnight.

Sorry for the short reply, I'm on my mobile.

You need to click the [+] icon to add a release and upload your .bar file to the App World. As I understand, goods are for anything related to your app that isn't distributed, ie signed releases if you are using 3rd party assets. Most apps shouldn't need any goods.

Officially, you DO NOT need to sign your app to qualify.

Thanks. But I will prefer using Flash Builder Burrito instead of command line (if possible) as I am used to it.

 

I am using Flash Builder Burrito can see a .bar file in my bin-debug folder. Is that the file I need to submit. Also in some posts I saw that it is needed to make debug = false. So please confirm if this is correct.

 

1) I go to Project -> Properties->ActionScript Compiler and change compiler arguments from "-locale en_US" to -dubug = false"

2) I take the "myapp.bar" file from bin-debug and submit that

 

Are the above 2 steps correct or is there something more?

Just one note, you should have both in your arguments.

I'm not sure if that is all you need to do, but if you can sign it using the instructions in my link above, you should be good.

No you do not need to sign to qualify. You will need to later sign it so you can actually so people can actually buy/download your app.
