Quick question after reading Definitive guide

My question is regarding updating an app and creating a new app.

The Definitive guide says:

A. Create CSK file (only needed to be done once)

B. Sending CSK & CSJ information to AppWorld (only needed to be done once)

C. Create a developer certificate (Only needed to be done once)

D. Create Debug Token (This only needed to be done once)

Does this mean once per app? Once per version? Once per computer? Once per developer?

Many thanks in advance,

Can.

Re: Quick question after reading Definitive guide

Once per company. Developes can (and need to) share the same key if multiple people might be updating the same or same suite of apps. There are threads on this.

Many thanks, jtegen! And I presume that it's once per company for the debug token too?

Also, while I've got you here, if I want to test my build on a device (not the simulator) without having to submit my app, I build the .bar file with -devMode but what then?

Re: Quick question after reading Definitive guide

You have to be in "dev mode" on the device as well. Under Security. Enter the same password you use to send the BAR file over. It has been some time since I used command line arguments to send the file to the device. You may need to search the forum a little to verify arguments. Be certain the path to the correct SDK is set properly.

Awesome! I think I've got the arguments Smiley Happy
Little off-topic but how do you get developer levels? The gamer inside is dying to find out Smiley Tongue
